Challenge
To make a short fun animation about Christmas. Also to demonstrate first attempt on frame by frame animation. This is also a little gift for everyone on Christmas Day.
Role
Rough frame by frame movement is drawn on Flash. Then drawn properly and coloured in on Photoshop. Style is very crafty and jittery. Background is done Aftereffects.
A full loop sequence was originally planned for the animation.
First attempt on frame by frame to me was overwhelming. The amount of work that goes through traditional animation was more than I thought. But step by step, you will get results.
